This is true but then it makes me think that the Avengers aren’t superheroes either because none of them really have powers, they just have powerful items.
Iron man has his suit, but he’s just a man.
Captain America has his shield, but he’s just a juiced up man.
Thor has his hammer, but he’s just a God.
Black Widow is just… a woman.
Hawkeye is just good with arrows.
Hulk is just fucking… powerful.

Are they superheroes?

Hulk definitely qualifies as a superhero. He has superpowers. Albeit due to mutations brought on from other events, he still is.

As is Captain America. His shield is his trademark, however he was also scientifically engineered and now runs about with super strength and inhuman senses.

As for Hawkeye, Black widow, and Iron man. No technically they don’t qualify as SUPER heroes, but they are still heroes.

and Thor may be a god but he’s DEFINITELY a super hero.

SUPER man is an alien. just for the record. all of the Xmen are mutants. Green Latern gets his powers from a ring that is based out of an interplanetary legion. all of them are super heroes. anyway….just sayin.
